By using Boba you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short and in plain English.

1. What Boba is

Boba is a family chore and reward app. A parent creates chores and rewards; a child completes chores and earns in-app coins and XP which they can spend on the rewards that parent set up.

2. Accounts and who is responsible

• A parent must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where they live.
• You are responsible for the child profiles you create, for the content you type into them, and for deciding what chores and rewards are appropriate for your child.
• Keep pairing codes and PINs private. Anyone who has a child's pairing code and PIN can sign in as that child.
• A family can have two parents. Both see and can change all family content, so only invite someone you trust with it.

3. Boba Pro subscription

Boba is free to use with one child profile and one reward. Boba Pro unlocks unlimited child profiles and rewards, proof photos, push notifications, the level journey with its prizes, and inviting a second parent.

• Billing is by Google Play, not by us. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
• Cancel any time in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy. We can ask Google to look at a case but we cannot issue a refund ourselves.
• Pro applies to your whole family, so both parents and every child profile get the unlocked features from one subscription.

If we ever change what Pro includes or what it costs, existing subscribers keep their current terms until the end of the period they have paid for.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Boba for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or harm anyone, including a child
• Upload content that is illegal, sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate for a child to see
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or circumvent the app's security or its purchase verification
• Use another family's pairing code or attempt to access data that is not yours

We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why where we can.

5. Proof photos

If you enable proof photos, your child can attach a photo to a chore for you to review. Only attach photos you are happy to store, keep them appropriate, and be aware that they are deleted automatically 7 days after upload. Save anything you want to keep to your own gallery from the approval screen.

6. Availability

Boba is provided as it is. We try to keep it working and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Boba depends on Google Firebase and Google Play; an outage there is an outage here.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Boba, including lost data, lost coins, or a reward not being delivered. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending it

You can stop using Boba at any time and ask us to delete everything — see Delete your account and data. We may stop offering Boba, in which case we will give reasonable notice in the app so you can cancel a subscription and export anything you want to keep.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use Boba after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, where the developer is based, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live. Contact bobaprodaps@gmail.com.
